HOW TO FIND YOUR BEST FIT

STEP 1: Take a look at the garment measurements below. You may like to compare them to similar items in your wardrobe to give you an idea of how this piece will fit.

The Vivienne trousers are non-stretch. They fasten with a zip at the back.

This style runs a little large, so you may like to size down from your usual size.

There are two leg length options, Regular and Long.

If you are a 27" - 31" leg, choose Regular. If you are a 31" - 35" leg, choose Long.

TOP TIP: The waist has no stretch, is designed to sit high, and looks best when close-fitting, so the best way to choose your size is to compare your high waist measurement to the garment measurements (row A in the table below) and choose the one which is closest. You can also get away with a waist measurement that is 1-2cm smaller than your waist - this will give a nice cinched-in fit.

The hip is more forgiving, with built-in ease, so the measurements in the table below will be bigger than your body measurements in your size - this is correct, because these are garment measurements, not body measurements, and the hip is not designed to be a tight fit.

Note: there is a tolerance of +/- 1cm on all garment measurements. This means that these measurements on your finished piece may be 1cm larger or smaller than the measurements shown here. This is down to small variations in the sewing of these handmade items, and is out of our control.

The rise (aka crotch) is slightly dropped (not tight fitting) so bear that in mind when looking at the inside leg measurement (row C). The finished length will sit a little longer when worn.

All of our models sized down from their usual size, for a snug nipped-in waist.
