I bought this for my daughter’s 6th birthday, and she’s essentially become a disco ball with opinions. The moment she put it on (in the glorious Chameleon colourway), she looked in the mirror and said, dead serious, “I’m never taking this off.” She meant it. It’s now been worn to school, to the supermarket, to bed, and once (somehow) in the paddling pool.
It’s beautifully made, wildly sparkly, and magically manages to survive the chaos of small child life — including an ice cream incident I’d rather not relive. Every sequin is still attached, which feels like sorcery. I want one in my size immediately, though I fear we’d look like a slightly deranged double act.
If your child has even a hint of magpie in them, this top is a must. Just be warned — they’ll be stopped in the street. Frequently. By adults asking where they got it. Five stars. Six if you include the one now living in my daughter’s soul.
