We discovered a fault with these sequins: the colour coating starts to rub off onto skin and other surfaces.

What we found in our tests:

1. The colour started to transfer onto our hands within an hour of wearing the garments (however the appearance of the sequins did not change).
2. The colour transferred very faintly onto white cotton fabric when we rubbed the sequins very firmly on the fabric for 30 seconds.
3. When washed on a 40° regular cycle, the silver base colour started to show at the very edges of a small percentage of sequins. (Note, we do not recommend washing in this way, but we wanted to see what would happen.  You can find correct washing instructions here)

These tests took place in our warm, dry studio environment.  We have not tested the sequins with other substances they may come into contact with in real-world environments, such as sweat, sun cream, or cosmetics. Please only buy if you accept this fault.  We will not be accepting returns or exchanges on these items. Under the distance selling regulations, UK customers have the right to cancel their order within 14 days.

Our clothes are made with a slow fashion ethos. Everything is designed by Rosa and her team in the studio in Cornwall, UK, and made by a female-led family business in Bali, Indonesia. Rosa has been working closely with Annie and her team in Bali since 2010. Every sequin is hand-stitched by a skilled artisan, and each piece comes with a tag showing the name of the maker.
