I dreamt up Rosa Bloom in 2008, driven by a desire to
create beautiful clothes that evoke a sense of
freedom and transformation. The brand has evolved
in many ways since then, but my core purpose
remains: to create wearable happiness.

As a teenager I was massively inspired by UK festival culture, especially the spirit of freedom, expression, and playfulness of the flourishing festival scene. 

From day one, my vision with Rosa Bloom was to create clothing outside the realm of the mainstream fashion world. 

From the very beginning, Bali in Indonesia has been an integral part of the Rosa Bloom story. 

Since my first adventure there in 2009, I have spent a lot of time in Bali, working with our makers and learning about the island's rich culture and way of life. 

On my second trip, in the early days of the brand, I was lucky to meet Annie, a Balinese woman who ran her homegrown tailoring business from the ground floor of her house in the capital, Denpasar. 

Each material we use is chosen with the intention of supporting my aim of putting responsibly-made clothes out into the world.
